A rogue Skrull infiltrates the Fantastic Four Headquarters and approaches each member individually, disguised as a loved one...only to zaps them! Having defeated the Fantastic Four she searches their database for an object but can't find any record of it. She summons a group of four heroes while posing as Sue Richards, and enlists their aid by showing them the dead bodies of the other Fantastic Four members. Seeing the travesty, the group (Spider-Man, Hulk, Wolverine, and Ghost Rider!), quickly agrees to aid Sue.

Meanwhile, the pursuing Skrull ship lands on Monster Island. They send the various monsters there across the globe to cause havoc while they work on finding the rogue Skrull.
